OBITUARY

MR. VINCENT BARKER

GISBORNE, This Day.

The death has occurred at the age of CO years of Mr. Vincent Barker, barrister, sheep farmer, and freezing company director, and a prominent resident of Poverty Bay for many years. Mr. Barker was the iiffch son of the late Mr. Percival Barker, and was bom in Dunedin and educated privately. Entering law as a yonng man, lie later started sheep farming with his four brothers, and was substantially successful. He is survived by a widow and four daughters.
