The Gisbome Kacing Clnb's Summer Meeting opened to-day in hot weather, with a fair attendance. The track is hard. Results:—
Te Hapara Hack Handicap, of 80 soys; six furlongs.—l Tai Ao, 8.7, 1; 2 Imperial Fame, 9.0, 2; 3 Stitch, 8.0, 3. Scratched: Little Wonder, Bold Archer, and Measurer. Won by two lengths. Time, lmin 13 2-ssee. First Hurdles, of 100 sovsj one and a half miles.—2 St. Ames, 9.9, 1; 3 Tall Timber, 9.0, 2; 1 Eusset Moor. 10.13, 3. Scratched: Simeon. Won by two' ancb a iialf lengths.
