A quaiter of an hour later the men cume out, ugain without the bag. but while the ionior-Beigeant was talking to them, •in auk WilJcocks, who assisted m the bar .it the hotel, appealed with the bag. Seeing the sen-oi-Kergeant, lie left the bag, which contained a jar holding about a gallon o£ beei, in the yard. Ihc licensee, Alis. B L. Purcoll, was inteiviewed on the pieinises by the sefuoi-sei^caut, and said that WilJcocks had no light to supply liquor after horns. '
