BURGLAR DISTURBED
About 3 a.m. on Monday Mr. J. B. Dunning, of 101, Overtoun terrace, Hataitai, discovered a man inside his house examining the look of the front door with the aid of a torch. Mr. Dunning attempted to seize the man, but before he could roach him he ran through the door, jumped tho fence, and escaped. When Mr. Dunning made an examination of.the house he found that the intruder had entered through the bathroom, -window. Nothing -was stolen. .
