AMATEUR CYCLING
CLASSIFICATION QUESTION
THE RECENT AGREEMENT
The matter of classifying cyclists, whether according to age or to ability, was again considered last night at a meeting of delegates, of the Wellington Centre of the New-Zealand Amateur Athletic Association, over which Mr. A. C. Kitto presided: After lengthy discussion the matter, was-referred back to the cycling committee- for further consideration. The cycling committee : recommended that riders be 'classified as senior and junior, the juniors to be under 18 years of,age.on the day of the race, but that consideration be given to the' claims of an outstanding junior to ride in'-a eenior race, providing his club makes an application. : . i • . .
