Ab the result of the H&wkes Bay earthquake last year the Gisborne Racing Club's Summer Meeting • was. not held ■on its allotted dates,.but the club later on in the season held one day o! its permit as the first day of, the Poverty. Bay-Gisborne Combined Meeting, then utilised; the other day <> for an additional Winter Meeting.
