SHARP FALL IN NEW YORK

New South Wales and AHstralian Commonwealth bonds declined sharply, following an announcement that interest on the former's 5 per cent., 1957 issue, due on Monday, would not be paid. I The issues for 1957 and 1958 dropped by from 120 to 140 dollars for each 1000-dollar bond. ,
Commonwealth loans declined by from about 60 dollars for each bond of 1000 dollars (par value).
