(Received sth January,. 1 p.m.) SHANGHAI, 4th Janua-ry. The possibility of serious trouble has arisen at Foochovr, ■where a Chinese mob murdered a Japanese married
couple during anti-Japanese demonstrations. Two Japanese naval officers were violently assaulted. The murdered couple, a teacher and Ms wife, were beaten to death outside the Japanese Club. The Japanese are protesting against the murders, and considerable tension exists. ■ ■ •
