The "Daily Telegraph" says that the new Government will, shortly set up a Sub-committee of the Cabinet to consider means of dealing with tha Communist menace. The object will be to measure the strength of the pre« sent laws and determine whether Parliament should pass special anti-Bed i legislation, possibly after a referendum* Mr. Lyons, interviewed in Melbourne^ said: "All I can. say for the present is that Cabinet will investigate the Cora, monwealth laws with a view to deport* ing foreign, agitators."
