GENERAL HIGGINS'S VISIT

General Higgins, head of the Salvation Army, is to make a tour of New Zealand in the early part of this year. Accompanied by Mrs. Higgins, Colonel J. Pugmire; and Major F. Taylor (secretary), he is to arrive at Auckland on 21st March. His itinerary is as follows:—2lst Marcli, arrive Auckland; 22nd and 23rd March, travel to Palmerston North; 24th March travel via Masterton to Whatman Home (to be inspected); 25th, 26th, and 27th March, Christehurch; 2Sth March, Greymouth; 20th March, Ashburton; 30th Mavch, Temuka and Timaru; 3lst March, Oaruaru; Ist, 2nd, and 3rd April, Dun^din; 4th April, Invercargill; sth, 6th 7th Sth, 9th, 10th, and 11th" April, travel to Wellington congress; 12th April, Hastings13th and 14th April, Putaruru (visits Home); 15th April, Hamilton: 10th and 17th April, Auckland; 18th April, embarks for Sydney.
