REMARKABLE CASE

LONDON, 21st December. The "British Medical Journal" records a remarkable case of sight recovery after 27 years' blindness, following an operation by Dr. Norman Fleming, a London ophthalmic surgeon. _ The patient was a woman of 35, who since the ago of eight, had been able to distinguish only between light and dark.

Before her operation she was employed as a telephone operator, but was always in poor health.
