ASSISTANT TREASURER

MELBOUBNE, This Day

The official allocation of portfolios in the new Ministry is as announced. Mr. Bruce will be Assistant Treasurer. The swearing-in will take place at Canberra on Wednesday.

In the administration of the Treasury Mr. Lyons will have the assistance of Mr. Bruce, whose business experience and recent contact with financial authorities in Great Britain should make his aid extremely valuable.

In the Federal Cabinet the four honorary ministers are: Mr. S. M. Bruce, Senator W. Massey Greene, Mr. J. Francis, and Mr. J. A. Perkins.
