PREPARATION FOR WAR

LONDON, 3rd January
The "Daily Mail's" Moscow correspondent says that, preparing for war, the Soviet Budget shows an amount equal to 130 millions sterling, tho highest since the Bolsheviks seized power in 1917. Allocated to the War Departments are twelve millions for special arms, notibly Ogpu military expenditure, also votes for railway constructions, roads, motor services, and civil aviation, totalling 335 millions.
