(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, 3rd January. At -the Speedway Royale last night, ths English rider, Sid Jackson, yon the international contest, winning each of the three heats. The other two riders were Elms and Bysouth, both of Australia, who were rather overshadowed. Jackson's times were 86 1-osec, 87see, and 87 l-ssec. The interprovincial match between Canterbury and Otago was won by the formes by 18 points to 9, Wichs, of Christcnurch, being outstanding, and winning all three heats. His best time was 86 l-ssec, tha other two heats taking 90sec arsd STsecOakley, of Christchurch, was disappointin?;. He was placed in only one heat, in which both Otajo riders. Homer and Xesbit, came to grief. The track was bumpy, and numerous falls occurred, but iio one was seriously injured.
