The Upper Huti; Defence /Rifle Club continued its championship ' matches on Saturday with the! fourth shoot of the second series at 304 yards and 500 yards. The conditions -wer| not good; changeable I'sbt and a rear fishtail 'wind; made shooting difficult. Under these conditions some very good scores iv«re made. At 300 yards A. Scott scored 47,-H. Whitcman 44, and Pres. L. Ridgway^ At 500 yards F. Evans 48. H. Whitemati, Pres. L. Ridgway, D. Purvis, 44 cacli; and G. Coker, 43. ■With an aggregate score of 93 F.
