(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") AUCKLANTJ, This Day. Signs of returning optimism in Malaya and the Straits Settlement -were referred to by Mr. X G. Faraday, formerly o [ Auckland, who returned by the Narbada after four years as consulting engineer in the Far East.
