ON THE SPEEDWAYS
KILMISTER MAKES RECORD

PALMERSTON N., Ist January. The third meeting of the season of the Manawatu Speedway was held in good weather before a large attendance. A new track record was established by Kilmister. In the first international race <J. Jackson (England) was first, the time being 85 3-ssec. In the second race W. Kilmister (New Zealand) came first, with <i. Jackson (England) second. The time was 82 4-ssec—a track record. The third ??ee was won by W. Eilmister, with •Nobby Key second and J. Jackson third, the time being 82sec, a new track record. Kilmister gained 10 points, Jackson 9, and Key 3.
