. According to a report; laid before scientists by Dr. Frederick Eberson,of the University of California, the isolation and observation under the microscope of the hitherto invisible germ of infantile paralysis, as well as the growth and cultivation of successive generations of the germ outside animal organism, has been accomplished. He stated that the organism, removed from the virus and grown in an artificial culture,'proved exceedingly minute in size, ranging from 0.05 to 0.1 of a micron, which latter is equal, to 1-1000 of a millimetre. :
