MARATHON EVENT
TWENTY MILES AT TRENTHAM.
To-morrow afternoon at Trentham, the Olympic Harrier Club is holding a twenty miles Marathon, the first of what the .lub intends to be an annual event. A .ourse of four laps has been decided upon, md the runners will pass- in front of the rrentham grandstands each time. The) .ontest is to start at 2,15 p.m. • -- . Handsome trophies have been presented "or both- the individual winner and the successful team in the teams' section. Individual entries have been received from Dunedin (G. R. Ward, of the Leith Harrier Club), Auckland (F. C. Nicholson), nnd Taranaki (H. L. Brown and G. Waljham). The Wellington entries are: Olympic, 11; Scottish, 8; Wellington, 7; Brooklyn, 2. '
