SILVER WEDDING
To-day is the 25th anniversary of the wedding of Mr, and Mrs. A. P. Snutn, and the event was made the occasion of a very pleasant little ceremony at the monthly meeting of the Wellington Diapers Association yesterday morning. In presenting Mr. A.. P. Smith with a silver rose bowl, Mr.. C. F. Smith (Kirkcaldie and Stains); president of the Drapers Association, spoke of the esteem m which the recipient was held by members of the trade, and wished him and Mrs % Smitn continued happiness in their married life. Mr. T. Forsyth and other members present .added their congratulations and good wishes.
Mr. A. P. Smith, in expressing his appreciation of the gift and >of the spirit that prompted it, referred to the harmonious relations that existed in the Wellington drapery trade. He had found it a real happiness to meet members of the as. sociation ,at their regular meetings, and had made warm friendships as a result of these foregatherings.
