KAWARAU SCHEME.
Mr. G. A. C. Robieson, chairman of the haw amalgamated company in connection with the extraction of gold from the bed of the Kawarau River, states that the report- of Professor Hornell hns • not yet reached New Zealand.- Statements^ made during the hearing of a civil action in Dunedin on 6th October, that the report was in possession of a bank, which would release it on payment of £1500 by the new company, were wholly incorrect in regard to both fee and the position of the report, which had not yet reached the Dominion. _______________ "
