LOWER HUTT COURT

Mr. J. G. L. Hewitt, S.M., dealt with cases in the Magistrate's Court at Lower Hutt yesterday. A collision between his car and a cyclist proceeding in the same direction on one of the approaches. to the Melling bridge resulted in Reginald' Cox being charged with negligent driving. He was .fined 10s. John Christie waff fined 10s for having driven an unregistered car. For having driven a car at a speed which might have been dangerous, David Robinson Wylie was fined £1. He was fined £1 for haying failed to stop at the signal of a constable. Alfred Ernest Bird was fined 10s for having failed to give way to traffic on the right and 10s for having cut a corner.
