! The monthly meeting of the Wellington Burns: Club was held, on. The humour of Burns was demonstrated by a delightful, reridertiig'; of,"Tarn; .o'i; Shanter,''* and not the least successful effdrt by; Mr. Thomson, was 'the'recital''of*a letter written in April, 1793, to Mr. John Francis Erskine of Mar when that gentleman expressed; a wish to assist Burns Kin his difficulties.
