JOHNSONVILLE SALE.

Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on Johnsonville sale held 6th .October as follows:—"To the usual attendance of buyers1 we submitted an average yarding of cattle. The yarding was mostly prime quality bullocks, with an odd pen of inferior cows. No good quality female stock came forward. Prices were on a par with last week's rates. There was a full yarding of sheep, with the exception of spring lambs, whioh were penned in smaller, numbers than usual. Prices for wethers and shorn ewes were on a par with last week's rates, but woolly ewes were easier to the extent of Is per head. Owing to the short yarding' spring lambs showed a firming tendency.
