Notice was given by the lion. 11. Masters that ho will move to-morrow a motion approving of the Government Railway Board's report regarding railway lines under construction.
The South AVairarapa River Board JJmpoworing Bill and the Cameron Soldiers Memorial Park (Mastcrtou) Trus-. tecs Empowering Bill were put through their remaining stages and passed.
Tho Council adjourned until 2.30 p.m. to-morrow.

TIVES
The House of Representatives met at 2.30 p.m. to-c]ay.
Mr. W. Nash (Labour, Hutt) gave notice to ask if reductions in weekly railway tickets would be made on Wellington suburban lines, as had been done in Auckland.
Mr. Nash also gave jiotieo to ask the Prime Minister . whether the Adjustment Committee which it -was proposed to set up under the Finance Act to deal with cases of hardship had yet met, and, if it had met, how many appeals had been made and what relief hail been given1'
