BILLIARDS.

This year's New Zealand amateur billiards championship is to be held in Wellington, a decision to this effect having been made by the Auckland Sports Club, representing the British Billiards Association. The championship, for which entries close next Monday, will be conducted by the Federal Club.

More than 100 clubs and schools are now affiliated to the Women's Cricket Association in England.

Ramsey Wilson and Co. -will sell furniture at their Bond street mart at 2 p.m. to-morrow. On Friday at 10.30 a.m. they will sell the contents of the residence, No. 32a, Wigan street. On Saturday, 10th October, they will sell furniture and effects at No. 23, Oroua street, Rona Bay, starting at 1.45 p.m,
