RIFLE SHOOTING ■ ' —♦— —; '•. ■'■ OLD NAVALS CLUB The Old Navals' Rifle Club held a practice shoot at Trenfham on Saturday afternoon, over 300 and 500 yards ranges. Ideal conditions prevailed, which gave those who ..attended every opportunity to. give their rifles a good try-out before the club competitions commence. The best scores at 300 yards were W. Kelly 45, C. Lawton 44, W. M'Bain 43. At the 500 yards range T. M'Gill, J. Bell, and W. Bell were; the leading scorers, with 45 eaoh. The scores were as follows:— 300 500 ■ • ' yds. yds. Tl. VV.
