CABIN COLLAPSES

ACCIDENT WITH LAUNCH ONE OF PARTY DROWNED SYDNEY, sth October. A picnic of 24 on George's Biver, j near Sydney, had an unenviable experience when the cabin of their launch collapsed and twelve young people were thrown into deep water.

All were rescued except one who was not missed for some time. The victim is Charles Pearson, who was drowned, his body being recovered half an hour later.
