VINES BEATS PERRY PACIFIC COAST CONTEST (Received Cth October, 8 a.m.) SAN FBANCISCO, 4th October. | Ellsworth Vines (U.S.A.) won the Pacific Coast tennis tournament singles, defeating. F. J. Perry (England), 6-3, 21-19, 0-3. The match last two hours. Mrs. Helen Wills-Moody and G. M.' Lott retained the mixed doubles title when they defeated Edith Cross and G. P. Hughes, 6-3, 3-6, 6-0. G. P. Wood and Stoeffen defeated F. J. Perry and Hughes, 6-4, 6-4, 6-3, in the men's doubles.
