MACDONALD'S MOVEMENTS

LONG ROYAL AUDIENCE

(British Official Wireless.) (Received sth October, 11 a.m.) RUGBY, 3rd October. The Prime Minister had an audience of the King this morning, remaining with him nearly an hour. It is understood that the general political situation and the events of the last few days were discussed. The Prime Minister later in the morning left for Chequers, where he is spending the week-end. No Cabinet meeting will take place before Monday. It ie considered unlikely that any definite announcement as to the future trend of political events will be made before next week.
