Mr. Robert Parker, C.M.G., began his 54th year yesterday as organist and .choirmaster, of ,St. ■ Paul's Pro-Cathed-ral. In commemoration the choir rendered a ■selection, from .Mendelssohn's; "St. Paul," /and. in the course of his address Canon' James paid a tribute to Mr. Parker's work and the influence he had in beautifying the worship at St. Paul's, ■
