In the first round of the Wilford Cup (on handicap), Cornwall beat Kemball, 5 and 4 at the 32nd; Feast beat Taylor, 4 and 3; Bishop beat Russell, 3'and 2; Low beat Frazer, 1 up; G; K. Brown beat Bowring, 2 up; Couchman beat Lavelle, 2 up. In the play-off for the captain's trophy, Runciman beat Desmond, 1 up; Turner beat M'Carroll, 2 and 1; Laing beat KernHall, 4 and 3; Brown beat Ardell, 1 up.
