SCOTTISH CLUB"S FIELD DAY
A departure in Scottish Club activities was the holding of a "field" day on Saturday as a wind-up to a very successful season. About forty members took part, and the majority "had a go" at everything. Although there was Insufficient time to complete the full programme, the events decided were responsible for bringing to 0 light some promising talent for the approaching track season. Results of events were as follows:— ~ 100 yds Handicap.—First heat: Price 1, M'Pherson 2, M'Millan, 3. Second heat: Smith 1, M'Nicol 2/ Fleming 3.. ■{ Third heat: Lawer, 1, Dawkins 2, Stevens 3. Final: Smith 1, Lawer 2, Price 3. 880 yds Walk.—Sinclair 1, Gourdie 2, M'Millan 3.
