WELLINGTON CLUB'S FINALE
The final meeting "of the season of the Wellington Football Club was held on Saturday afternoon, when members of the various teams competed for the Levin Shield at Athletic Park. The day was brilliantly fine, and the ground in excellent order for the events. The shield, held last year by D. J. Oliver, was won by C. Barron, a junior grade player. Another trophy, presented by Mr. J. Dow, an old Wellington Club player, now resident in North Auckland, was won by G. Elder, of the Third C team. Conditions governing this trophy are that it shall be won by the best tackier in the team furthest behind-at the end of the first .round. , JVIr. J. J. Murray, president of the club, in presenting the trophies, expressed the opinion that the annual competition was well worth while, and congratulated the winners on their fine showing. Drop-kick at Goal: Barron 1, Murrell 2, Marlow 3. ' Final Result: C. Barron, 8 points, 1; H. F. M'Lean and N. Ball, 6 points each, dead-heat, 2. Teams' Relay Race (with ball): Junior A (F.
