Kival smuggling gangs in the Gulf of Finland have embarked on a career of murderous revenue rivalling Chicago at its worst.
A motor-ship carrying spirits was mined and five were drowned, including , Captain Malinberg, Sweden's "bootleg king." ■~ Koxt day a' motor-boat exploded almost on the same spot, killing four. The polico wore convinced that -it had been mined by Malmberg's gang in revenge for their leader's death.
Finally, a police boat, hurrying to tho scene to investigate, was wrecked, and its crew were drowned, including a detective. I
