BELVOIR QUITE SOUND
A denial to the report in southern' papers that' Belvoir had been turned out because of uusoundness is given by the geiaihg-S'owner, Mr. G. F. Moore; whosays:—''l have been reading all sorts of« reports in the Press lately about Belvoir s having- gone unsound, but they are quite wrong.. Belvoir is 'not- unsound in. anj?' w_ay, and has never, been lame. The'posi-. tion is" that as he is ia,.very big horse,'needing time for development, and as he'has already shown that he is good, ¥. Jones; and I' decided that the be^t policy would be to give him an easy time until it is: necessary to prepare him for next seaeon's racing."
