Once upon a time there wa» a duck called Dicky. He thought lie was the wisest duck there ever was. One day he was at the pond near the wood, when he heard a small voice say, "I do wish someone wise would speak to met" . Dicky thought he was very wise, and he would talk to the, poor creature. Suddenly out sprang Mr. Fox, but Dicky used both - feet and wings, and, was soon safely in the middle of the pond.
