The Suburbs Rifle Club will open the season to-morrow with a practice shoot over,, ranges of 300 and 500 yards. All members and prospective members are requested to attend." ■' ' The Petone Rifle Club will fire a practice, match at Trentham to-morrow, ranges 300, and 500 yards. A team's match will bo fired between teams chosen by the deputy-presidents. To-morrow, the Karori Defence Rifle Olub will slioot over ranges .300 and 500 yards. Weekly trophies will be competed for. The championship'series will commence on Saturday, 7th November.
