The machine is undamaged. ■/ Though feeling unwell Smith is determined to carry on and, telegraphed hii friends that they might expect him at' the Tatoi aerodrome,» Athens, late in the afternoon, but he did not arrive.
At Paris crowds waited all day long at Le Bourget aerodrome in the hope of welcoming Smith. They were relieved later to learn that he had made » safe landing. They hope he will reach' Paris on Friday evening.
