Influenza of the pneumonic type, reported as prevalent in the North, has made its appearance here, a few cases being notified to the Health Department, with two deaths within a week. A milder typo of influenza is very prevalent. Yesterday 130 pupils were absent from the Boys' High School and a hundred frani the Girls' High, School.
