Mrs, J. D. Gray has returned from Matakana, Auckland, and in living in her flat in Grant road.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Elundell, Murphy street, left yosterday for a holiday visit to Palmerston North.

Mrs. 11. D. Crawford and Mr. J. C. Crawford, who arrived in Auckland on Wednesday night by the Rangitiki from England, are travelling on to Wellington by the Bangitiki, which is due on Monday.

Mrs. G. A. Hart left Wellington last evening to spend several weeks in the South Island.

Mr. and Mrs. Vernou Matthews, Christchurch, were among the passengers who arrived in Auckland on Wednesday night by the Bangitiki from England.

Dr. Ada Patterson, Wellington, who has been visiting Dunedin, is now in Christchurch.

Miss Catherine G. Keddell, who obtained the position of licentiate in the elocution section of Trinity College examinations recently, with a total of 88 marks, is a pupil of Miss HardingeMaltby, Wellington.

Mrs. G. O. Taylor, Wellington, is the guest of her daughter, Mrs. H. W. Bundle, Eoslyn, Dunedin.
