PAINFUL EXPERIENCE

A railway clerk named H. S. Rowe was found lying alongside the track by the crew of a goods train about 1 o'clock this morning at Whangamarino. Kowe, who1 was employed at the Ohakune office,! left Auckland' by the express last night, He stated that he was passing between the carriages while the train was running through the Whangamarino siding about 9 p.m. when he fell off it. . It was four hours later when he was found suffering from bruises and a gash on the head. He is now in the Auckland Hospital for Xray examination. , .
