HOME OF COMPASSION.
Though the alterations to the Home of Compassion are still far from complete, the wards for surgical and. acute medical cases will be ready for occupation on 12th October. Thanks to the well-known liberality of Wellington's medical men, a full staff of honorary surgeons and specialists lias now been secured, in addition to the usual staff of honorary medical attendants. __
