HARD LABOUR FOR THEFT
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Pleading guilty to nine charges of theft, totalling £2 9s, from public telephone cabinets, Arthur Edwin Hall, alias Thomas Simpson Clark, aged. 31,' was sentenced by the Magistrate, Mr. Mosley, to three months' hard labour. The police said that considerable damage had been done, and the *ervice had been dislocated. ,
