RELIEF WORKERS' MEETING.
Under the auspices of the. General Labourers' Union, a meeting of aIL: relief workers will be held in the Trades Hall > on Friday evening. For several weeks, the General Labourers' Union has been actively engaged in organising the men on relief works, and it is reported that up to the present almost fifteen hundred menhave been organised into the relief workers' section of the Labourers* Union. The objective, of the 'organisation -is to obtain standard conditions and wages on relief works.
