HENDERSON'S POLICY
NO PERSONALITIES
LONDON, 7th September. The Government's supporters in a no-confideuce division vrill be mado up of 261 Conservatives, 58 Liberals, 9 Labourites, and -1 Independents, states the London "Daily Telegraph." It is expected the Government's normal majority will bo fifty. The paper points out that Mr. Arthur Henderson may have to walk warily in leading tho Opposition, as many Labourites resent the fact that tha late Ministry went as far as it did in the diroction of economies ,in the social services. Mr. Henderson, in a message to tho Labour Parly through the "Daily Herald," says: "A course of vigorous, wholehearted opposition to the new Government can bo followed without personal recriminations against old colleagues, who doubtless are actuated by deep convictions; but this will not deter us from resolutely submitting imr policies In Parliament."
