KARAPOTI GOES FASTER
Having his first sprint for some considerable time, KarapotiVas allowed to stretch out over,.ttyo furlongs at Te Awamutu one day last/week, and he was not extended to run the distance in 26 2-ssec.. He is reported to be looking particularly'bright and to have benefited by his spell. He may again be the outstanding; horse of the Dominion thia season. On the same morning, Supremacy and Royal Ruler'worked over six furlongs at three-quarter pace, and Motere and Marechal were sent; a furlong further at a similar pace. Pegaway was allowed to run along over half a mile at good three-quar-ter pace, this being Pegaway'a first gallon for some months.
