LONDON PRODUCE PRICES.
The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated sth instant, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, London:— Tallow.—Market 'very quiet. Prices nominal and quotations slightly lower. Fruit.—Stocks of New Zealand apples in London practically cleared at prices same as last quotations. Peas.—Maple quiet. Small business done in Tasmanian, ex stove, at f>2s 3d to 535. New Zealand partridge for August-Septem-ber shipment reported to be sold at. 52s 6d to 535. Further sellers at ,13s 6d. Blues: Fair business has been done in Dutch and Japanese. Colonial neglected. Nominal value "A" grade Tasmanian for Septem-ber-October shipment, £8 1O.«. New Zealand about the same. Hemp.—Manila market dull' and easier in absence of trade support. ''X" grade for September-November shipment value £15. Sisal: Market quiet and firmer at the close. Fair average quality for Sep-tember-November shipment sold at £12 15s. New Zealand hemp nominally unchanged, and no first hand sales reported.
