JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP
.?-i l.(r rre. ."l ere tea starters in the 13% miles junior championship held on Saturday afternoon ..by the Port Nicholson Amateur Cycling. Club, affiliated to the New Zealand Union of Cyclists. Results were:—t. Heather (2min), 34min lOsec, 1; C. Walker 3min), 2; O. Disley (scr), Z; C. Crockford (scr), 4. Disley registered fastest time, 32min 20 2-ssec, and won the championship. Crockford, who took 32mm 29 3-Ssec, gained second fastest time.
After the junior championship, a race was held for the senior riders over a similar; distance. Platings,; with actual riding times, were as follows:—X. Rishbndger (4min), 35min 45see, 1; J. M'Cabe (4min), 35min 53sec, 2; R. Black (smin) 37mm. 2sec, 3; R. Barber (amin), 37min 12sec, 4. 'Fastest times: L. Roberts (scr) 33min,Gsec,- 1; JV Campbell (30sec), 33min 25see, 2.. ;
