• B. O'Dohnell has had another turn of bad luck. His four-year-old Balloon King, who had been galloping..well, has gone wrong, and; has' been scratched for all his spring engagements.
Amounis is under a cloud at present, and his trainer; F. M' Grath, has grave doubts about his ability to get the old fellow right again. His ambition was to top the £50,000 mark'in stakes with Amouris; but the prospects now. are not good. ■ : -. . ':_ , Phar Lap is^expeeted. here next week.
